This week the nation takes time to pause and celebrate a national day Thanksgiving. (History lesson: George Washington declared the first nationwide Thanksgiving in 1789 and Abraham Lincoln made it a national holiday in 1863.) We step back from the mayhem of the day-to-day rush of life to think about all of the things for which we are thankful, and to recognize another year of successful “harvest.” While many of us will travel great distances, others will spend it close to home. Regardless of where you find yourself this Thanksgiving, we hope your goal is the same: to enjoy a few precious hours of thankfulness, while basking in the glow of family and friends.
We at BrandDirections will be taking several days off (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday), so our team members can be with their families. As we all celebrate, we are also taking time to be grateful to our clients and business friends. This has been a good year for us at BrandDirections, and we are ever thankful for the relationships we share with our customer partners. Thank you all for your continued loyalty, faith in our teams and support of our creativity. We hope to always be worthy of your trust and support.
As we break for the holiday, let us all take time and be consciously grateful for all the blessings – large and small – that we have. Let us all share the joy of the season while filling it random acts of kindness. And most of all, be sure to say Thank You to your teams, your clients, your friends and your family.
Have a very happy Thanksgiving!
